The Praxis Journal is building a dynamic, multidisciplinary Editorial Board to support NHS clinicians and Portfolio Pathway applicants across the United Kingdom.

We are currently expanding our board and invite expressions of interest from consultants, SAS doctors, portfolio pathway doctors, medical educators, and academic clinicians.

Associate Editors

Associate Editors will support peer review coordination, manuscript screening, and specialty-specific academic guidance.

Statistical & Methodology Editor

Position: Vacant

Responsible for review of research methodology, audit design, QI methodology, and statistical integrity.

 

Peer Review Panel

We are actively recruiting peer reviewers across all specialties.

Peer reviewers will receive:

  • Formal recognition certificates

  • Documented evidence of academic contribution

  • Opportunity to demonstrate leadership and research engagement

  • Experience aligned with CESR/Portfolio Pathway evidence requirements

We are seeking clinicians who:

  • Are on the Specialist Register or working towards CESR/Portfolio Pathway

  • Have experience in research, audit, QI, or medical education

  • Are committed to supporting NHS colleagues

  • Wish to build structured academic leadership experience

Serving on the Editorial Board of The Praxis Journal offers:

  • Recognised academic leadership experience

  • Evidence of peer review and editorial involvement

  • Contribution to national professional development

  • Support of SAS and Portfolio Pathway doctors

  • Structured documentation for portfolio submission
